I. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
1.) The participation is possible only for persons with minimal age of 18 years (age 18 years reached at least 1 day before the date of the start).
A person with age 15-17 years can participate only in case his/her parent/legal representative will be present at the presentation (check-in) place, where an written approval of participation of an underage person in Ponitrianska stovka will be signed and subsequently confirmed with a signature of the Ponitrianska stovka race organizer (below "race organizer").
2.) Enrollment has been completed only via the Ponitrianska stovka enrollment form (it is not possible to enroll at start place or during the check-in), the full start fee was paid based on the instruction sent by the race organizer to the e-mail address provided during the enrollment and the person is listed in the start list on the Ponitrianska stovka website with status of completed registration.
3.) Participants take part in the Ponitrianska stovka race at their own risk. The race organizer takes no responsibility for the possible harm or damage should any happen to the participants or should be any caused by them.
4.) Maximal number of participants is 250.
5.) The enrollment fee for Ponitrianska stovka is 32 € for one person.
6.) After two registration without enrollment fee sent tge third registration for the ame person and race edition will not be accepted.
7.) Participation cancellation: Information about participation cancellation must be announced via e-mail to (participation cancellation announced verbally or via phone call or via social network is not accepted). If the start fee was already paid, this will be returned to you excluding the cancellation fee of 12 € (cancellation fee will be subtracted from the start fee) only in case, that the information about participation cancellation was announced via e-mail to before 28. August 2020 24:00 CET (bank account number information is required).
8.) Participant has to check-in in Handlová before start (either on Friday evening or on Saturday morning), pick up the control sheet, the race bib and the chip (eventually receive instruction). The condition of participation is to submit an filled-in and signed Informed consent (Participiant’s declaration) document during the presence (check-in) in Handlová:
II. MANDATORY EQUIPMENT
1.) Each participant of Ponitrianska stovka (below only "participant") must have all items of mandatory equipment with him/her during the race duration (from start to finish or participation withdrawal in other course place). In case of missing mandatory equipment the participant will be not allowed to start. In case of missing mandatory equipment items found during the race (see the pt. IV. 7.) the participant will be disqualified.
2.) The mandatory equipment contains:
- Isothermic blanket
- Forehead lamp with new batteries
- Mobile phone (turned on) with the SIM card which phone number was in the enrollment form
- Map (maps) containing the whole course od Ponitrianska stovka, or a GPS device with recorded GPX/other file displaying the course
- Streak reflective vest/streak reflex
- Bottle(s) or a hydration pack with resorvoir with capacity at least 1 L
- Own cup, tumbler or flask with wide mouth 1,5 dl minimum (flasks with narrow mouth or bottle lid are not accepted)
- Identity card
- Race bib placed visibly on the front body side during the whole race duration (it will be provided by the race organizer)
3.) The mandatory equipment check can be done either before start or at any place of the course by the race organizer or authorized volunteers.
III. DURING THE EVENT
1.) The check-in (presence) takes place on Friday 11. September 2020 evening in Handlová at the parking lot behind the Asterion n.o. building (18.00 – 22.30 CET) and on Saturday 12. September 2020 morning at the parking lot behind the Asterion n.o. building (05.00 – 06.40 CET).
2.) Before the start we will collect the baggage for transport to finish (for those participants, who have ordered this service in the enrollment form). The baggage must be marked with a label with the name and start number of the baggage owner.
3.) The participants start together on Saturday 12. September 2020 at 07.00 CET.
4.) The Ponitrianska stovka course is exactly set, participant has to keep the defined course.
5.) Carrying of participant’s equipment by any other person is strictly prohibited.
6.) Support or assistance for the participant (e.g. by family members, friends…) can be provided only at the staffed checkpoints.
7.) To ensure equal conditions for all participants no pacers are allowed in this race with 106 km course distance. The only exception from this rule are persons accompanying a visually impaired participant (with approval of the race organizer).
8.) In the interest of protection of participant’s health – in case of health problem which could cause danger to participant’s safety, health or life the present medics are authorized to take a decision on participation withdrawal due to health reasons (or on discontinuance for necessary time). In such case the participant is obliged to conform to this decision.
9.) Should the participant decide to quit before he can get to the nearest checkpoint, he is obliged to call and inform the race organizer, or to send a SMS message to the race organiyer (in case of missing signal as soon as possible). Race organizer’s phone number(s) will be available in the control sheet.
10.) Ponitrianska stovka participant is obliged to help to other participant in emergency case.
11.) In case the participant would discover any situation, which could cause danger to Ponitrianska stovka participants safety, health or life during the course, the participant is obliged to inform the race organizer immediately.
12.) The race organizer reserves the right to change the course, time limits of the checkpoints and event programme or to cancel the event (especially for participants safety reason).
IV. CHECKPOINTS, COURSE KEEPING SUPERVISION, PENALISATION, DISQUALIFICATION, PROTEST
1.) There are staffed (“live”) checkpoints (staffed with members of Ponitrianska stovka race organizer team and/or authorized volunteers), which position is announced to the participants in the Course section on this website and in the control sheets, which will be provided to the participants during check-in. On top of this there are staffed (“live”) checkpoints (staffed with members of Ponitrianska stovka race organizer team and/or authorized volunteers), which position will be not announced to the participants prior to the race.
2.) At each staffed (“live”) checkpoint the participant will receive a punches control mark to the control sheet and the arrival time will be recorded to the electronic timekeeping system (chip) and also manually. Therefore the participant goes to the checkpoint staff desk (control) immediately after he/she came to the checkpoint (not when leaving the checkpoint or after taking refreshment break). The members of Ponitrianska stovka race organizer team and authorized volunteers have also right to check the punches control marks from the previous checkpoints.
3.) The total time limit for completing the Ponitrianska stovka course is 25 hours (this menas until 13. September 2020 08.00 CET). Further there are time limits for the staffed checkpoints (see the section Course for more information). In case the participant will arrive after the time limit for the checkpoint, he will be not allowed to continue in the race (but he will be allowed to continue out of the event).
4.) Participant, who will go through all the checkpoints with keeping it’s time limits and will arrive to the finish place within the overall time limit, will receive a certificate of Ponitrianska stovka completion.
5.) One missing live checkpoint record results in disqualification (DSQ). GPX file (course track recorded) will not be accepted instead of missing checkpoint(s).
6.) Intended shortening of the course, using an vehicle and any other kind of cheating will result in disqualification (DSQ) and banishment from all future Ponitrianska stovka editions.
7.) Refusing help to other participant in case of emergency, verbal insulting or menacing action to the members of Ponitrianska stovka race organizer team and authorized volunteers, refusing the mandatory equipment check, missing mandatory equipment items (forehead lamp, mobile phone, isothermic blanket, bottle(s) or a hydration pack with resorvoir with capacity at least 1 L) result in disqualification (DSQ).
8.) Missing own cup, tumbler or flask with wide mouth 1,5 dl minimum, missing identity card, missing map or GPS, missing streak reflective vest/streak reflex will be penalised with 1 hour added to the total time.
9.) Incorrectly placed race bib (back side of the body, race bib not visible) will be penalised with 15 minutes added to the total time.
10.) The participants are not allowed to throw their rubbish away outside the staffed checkpoints or public waste bins. Throwing away rubbish outside the staffed checkpoints or public waste bins (voluntary act) will be penalised with 1 hour added to the total time.
11.) Penalisation or disqualification will be applied at the place where the violance of a rule(s) was found, or at the next staffed checkpoint in case the participant, who has violated the rule(s), left the checkpoint before applying the penalisation or disqualification. Penalisation or disqualification will be applied by member of Ponitrianska stovka race organizer team or authorized volunteer at the checkpoint after telephone consultation with the race organizer.
12.) Protest against possible problems in organization or event flow and similar can be applied at finish place 1 hour after the total time limit’s end (until 13. September 2020 09.00 CET latest). Entering a protest is being done direct to the race organizer (face-to-face). The condition of entering a protest is a 20 € advance deposit paid. In case the protest will be accepted, the deposit of 20 € will be returned to the participant, in case the protest will be not accepted, the caution forfeitures in race organizer’s behoof.
V. ITRA POINTS, QUALIFICATION FOR WSER AND UTMB
1.) The Ponitrianska stovka course has been certified by ITRA (International Trail Running Association) with a result of 4 ITRA points. ITRA points will be given to all participants, who will complete the Ponitrianska stovka course within 24 hours and in terms of the race regulations. Condition for receiving the ITRA points is a complete data sent in the enrollment form including full date of birth information.
2.) Ponitrianska stovka 2020 je is a qualifying race for Western States Endurance Run (WSER) for the year 2021. The ticket for WSER 2021 lottery will be given to all participants, who will complete the Ponitrianska stovka course within 24 hours and in terms of the race regulations.
3. Ponitrianska stovka 2020 is a Qualifying Race for UTMB. 4 qualifying points will be given to all participants, who will complete the Ponitrianska stovka course within 24 hours and in terms of the race regulations.
VI. NATURE PROTECTION
1.) The participants must take into account, that they going through the preserved natural area CHKO Ponitrie. They are obligated to keep the respective legislative, especially the Nature and landscape protection act nr. 543/2002.
2.) The participants must behave considerate in the nature, they are not allowed to leave the marked tourist paths needlessly.
3.) The participants are not allowed to throw their rubbish away outside the staffed checkpoints or public waste bins.
VII. ACCEPTANCE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION PROCESSING
In terms of the personal protection act nr. 122/2013 the participant agrees through his registration with administration, processing and storage of the personal information required in the registration form by the SLOVAK ULTRA TRAIL association located in Bratislava, Nejedlého 41, 841 02 Bratislava, IČO 42364582, for the purpose of registration for the event Ponitrianska stovka, limited by 1 year. After this period the personal information of the participant will be deleted.
PROTOCOL FOR COVID-19 PREVENTION
All participants are obliged to comply with all instructions from the Ponitrianska stovka race organizer from accessing the place of check-in until leaving the finish place, which are related to the anti-COVID-19 measures.
The Ponitrianska stovka race organizer reserves the right to disqualify a participant, who will not comply with the instructions from the Ponitrianska stovka race organizer related to the anti-COVID-19 measures.
BEFORE THE RACE
All participants will receive the information (PROTOCOL FOR COVID-19 PREVENTION) as a link contained in the information e-mail, which will be sent to the address provided by participant in the registration form.
The same information will be published also on the Facebook page of Ponitrianska stovka.

All participants from foreign countries are obliged to make sure before the travel to Slovakia, that the actual situation and regulations valid in their country as well as in Slovakia, do not make their travel to Slovakia or participation in the race impossible.
CHECK-IN (RACE BIBS COLLECT) IN HANDLOVÁ
Check-in (race bibs collect) is possible either on 11. September 2020 (18.00 – 22.30 hod.) or 12. September (05.00 - 06.40) at the parking lot behind the Asterion n.o. building in Handlová. Access of participants into the Asterion n.o. building / conference room is not allowed.
All participants are obliged to put on a face mask, when accessing the check-in area and wear it during the whole time until leaving the check-in area.
All participants are obliged to use the handsanitiser when accessing the check-in area.
The access to the check-in area will be regulated by race organizer.
Access to the check-in area is not allowed to persons except of participants, race organizers and volunteers.
Temperature screening before entering the check-in area: persons with body temperature over 38.0C will be restricted from accessing the check-in area.
The participants are required to keep a safe distance (2 m) during the check-in.
The condition of participation is to submit an filled-in and signed Informed consent (Participiant’s declaration) document during the presence (check-in) in Handlová.
BUS TRANSPORTATION FROM NITRA TO HANDLOVÁ (FRIDAY 11. SEPTEMBER 2020)
Only participants with booked bus travel from Nitra to Handlová are allowed to enter the bus.
Before entering the bus all passengers are obliged to use hands sanitizer (temperature screening possible).
During the whole duration if travel the passengers are obliged to wera a face mask.
START FROM NÁMESTIE BANÍKOV SQAURE IN HANDLOVÁ (SATURDAY 12. SEPTEMBER 2020)
Keep social distancing of 2 meters minimum, when waiting for the start at the Námestie baníkov square. No groupings allowed.
One minute before the start the participants will come to the start line. Face mask mandatory, keep a safe distance (2 m).
Start at 07.00 hod. During the start and then until leaving the town (place, where the safety car will stop) the participants are obliged to wear the face masks.
DURING THE RACE
During the running (the race) face masks are not mandatory (except of the beginning in Handlová and aid stations).
Do not run shoulder-to-shoulder or to “breathdownother’sneck”. Keep distance in any direction of at least 2 meters between each other. Don’t run in groups larger than 2 people.
When overtaking a slower runner, keep distance at least 1 meter. Before passing the runner hail him/her from behind and wait, until it is possible to pass with at least 1 meter distance side-by-side.
Spitting, blowing the nose: only with distance at least 10 metersfrom other participant and from the trail.
Pacers are not allowed in the Ponitrianska stovka race (this rule is independent from the COVID-19 situation).
In case of acute respiratory issues and COVID-19 symptoms (e.g. fever, cough, snifters, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat) the participant is obliged to leave the place of the event immediately, get in touch with his/her doctor (via phone) and inform the race organizer (via phone).
AID STATIONS AND CHECKPOINTS
Access of persons except of race participants, race organizers and volunteers (or persons helping the race organizers during the race) to the aid stations and checkpoints is not allowed.
Support or assistance for the participant (e.g. by family members, friends…) can be provided only close to the staffed checkpoints, but not directly at the checkpoints place.
Access of fans and supporters to the aid stations and checkpoints is not allowed.
Before accessing the aid station / checkpoint all participants are obliged to use the hand sanitiser.
Before accessing the aid station / checkpoint all participants are strongly recommended to put on a face mask.
Minimalize the time spent at the aid station / checkpoint to the necessary time only. Keep a safe distance (2 meters).
Beverages at the aid stations are distributed by volunteers only to the cups and flasks owned by participants (no contact between the beverage source and the cup or flask allowed).
It is strictly forbidden to drink directly from the bottles, which are at the aid stations (Pepsi, Cola-Cola, Kofola...).
Soup, pasta with ingredients, prepared breads at the aid stations are distributed by the volunteers.
The participants take other refreshments (fruits, salty / sweet refreshments) with touching only the one piece, which they take.
No spitting or blowing the nose at the aid station / checkpoint (at least 10 meters distance).
Access of the participnats into the house of culture at K5 Skýcov is not allowed.
FINISH (AREA OF "ZÁPASNÍCKA HALA JÚLIUSA STRNISKA" IN NITRA)
Before accessing the finish area all participants are obliged to use the hand sanitiser.
Before accessing the finish area all participants are strongly recommended to put on a face mask.
Before accessing the Zápasnícka hala Júliusa Strniska building and during the whole time spent in all participants are obliged to wear a face mask.
During the winners ceremony all participants are obliged to wear a face mask.
- The building of Zápasnícká hala Júliusa Strniska can be accessed only by race participants, race organizers, volunteers and medical staff.
- Befiore accessing the Zápasnícka hala Júliusa Strniska building, all participants are obliged to use the hand sanitiser.
- Keep safe 2-meters distance from other persons (participants, volunteers).
- Beverages in the finish area are distibuted by volunteers.
- It is strictly forbidden to drink directly from the bottles, which are in the finish area (Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Kofola...).
- Please mark you cup with your name (use a marker).
